I'm a crazy intuitive lady known for leading Good Axe Designs, a different kind of design studio. People come to Good Axe with diverse needs, but all are looking for original thinking, design expertise, and above all, simplicity. Our team transforms complex ideas into meaningful visuals that tell a compelling story.
We are enablers for good. We innovate, collaborate and create with folks to inspire a wave of positive, socially conscious change. Together, we help you understand and express your story, your business, your vision.
Forging brands, websites, photography, book, presentations and videos...
We design good, for the greater good.
I'm a designer/artist/creative living in NYC. I grew up in Cancun, Mexico to a mixed family (American/Mexican) and went to school for fashion design at FIDM in San Francisco.
My interest in fashion was always about storytelling and world creating and I knew I would need to have my own line to do that, so I started a swimwear line called Margarita Mermaid from scratch and taught myself production, business, marketing, online sales, photography and film production along the way!
In 2018 I felt the call to move in a different direction from Fashion and started a new project called "Seashell Spells", which combines my love of feminine mythical creatures, mystery boxes, magic, self-exploration and random acts of kindness.
On of the most important things in my life is being fiercely loyal to what creativity wants to say through us, and following what our intuition is telling us to do in order to live our most fulfilled lives. I believe we're at a time where more than ever before we can invent our own jobs and lives and find the right people and customers to share that with, though it takes a lot of breaking of old thought patterns and outside expectations to follow through. This is one of my favorite things I like to share with you at The Magic Jungle!
